1. Sabudana (Tapioca) Bhel, Chaat – food recipe

Ingredients:
    • ½ cup Sabudana.
    • 1 medium-sized potato, pinch red chili powder and 1 tablespoon peanuts.
    • 2 teaspoon oil
    • Salt
Method:
    1. First, you have to wash and boil the sabudana.
    2. Chopped the boiled potatoes.
    3. Mix all the ingredients together and continue to stir while sauting them.
    4. Sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve the sabudana bhel and serve immediately.  

2. Crispy Aloo Tikki (Potato Patty) food recipe

Ingredients:
      • 4 cups potatoes boiled peeled and shredded
      • 2 tablespoons corn starch
      • 1 teaspoon salt
      • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped (hara dhania)
      • Also, need oil to shallow fry
Method:
    1. Boil the potatoes, do not overcook them they should be still firm.
    2. Peel the potatoes.
    3. Add corn starch, salt, and coriander leaves to shredded potatoes and mix it well with a light hand.
    4. Don’t knead the potatoes.
    5. Divide the potatoes into eight equal parts and roll them, into patties, and at the end do some deep shallow fry.

3. Jhaal Muri – Kolkata Puffed Rice Snack food recipe

Ingredients:
    • 4 cups murmura/ muri (puffed rice)
    • 1/4 cup fine sev (Bengal gram vermicelli)
    • 1/4 cup peanuts
    • 1 teaspoon oil
Spice Mix
    • 2 teaspoons roasted cumin seeds powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt, black salt, and red chili powder.
    • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Method:
    1. Mix all the dry spices together and put aside.
    2. Then heat 1 tablespoon of oil add peanuts and roast it.
    3. Add all the ingredients and spices together just before ready to serve jhala muri.
    4. Toss them and serve.
    5. You may adjust all the ingredients according to your taste and enjoy its flavor.

4. Bread Dahi Vada food recipe

Food
Ingredients:
    • 8 slices of white bread
    • 2 tablespoon oil
For Filling
    • 3 tablespoons shredded coconut
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 teaspoons ginger, green chili finely chopped
    • 2 teaspoons sliced almonds
For Serving
    • 1-1/2 cups yogurt (curd, Dahi)
    • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
Method:
    1. Combine all the ingredients for filling coconut, green chili, salt, ginger, and almonds, and put aside.
    2. Cut bread slices into rounds, wet one side of the bread and put and start filling the mixed ingredients in center and fold the bread in a rounded shape.
    3. Close all the edges together with your fingers.
    4. You can also bake them in the oven for 5 minutes and serve it with curd or tamarind chutney.

5. Peanut Chaat food recipe

Food
Ingredients:
    • 1/2 cup raw peanuts
    • 1/2+1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
    • 1/8 teaspoon turmeric (Haldi)
    • 3/4 cup tomatoes and cucumber seeded cut in small cubes
    • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
    1. Add peanuts with 2 cups of water, turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a pan.
    2. Boil it over medium until peanuts are soft.
    3. Drain the water and let it cool.
    4. Mix all the ingredients and spices and lemon juice together.
    5. Mix the peanuts with tomatoes and cucumbers, add the spice mix and toss.
    6. Peanut chaat is ready to serve.

6. Fruit Chaat recipe

Ingredients:
    • 2 oranges skin removed and sliced in ½ inch each segment
    • 1 apple peeled and cubed into ½ inch pieces
    • 1 firm banana sliced into approximately ¼ inch rounds
    • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
Dressing
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 tsp black salt
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Method:
    1. Combine all the fruits and cucumber 1 tbsp sugar, black salt, and pepper in a bowl.
    2. Mix and set aside.
    3. Make sure the sugar is completely dissolved.
    4. Pour the dressing over the fruit when ready to serve.

7. Spinach chaat recipe

Food
Ingredients:
    • Approx. 5oz spinach leave
    • 4 tablespoons gram flour
    • 4 tablespoons corn starch
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • Pinch of black pepper
    • Approx. 1/4 cup of water use as needed
    • Oil to fry
Method:
    1. Clean and pat dry the spinach.
    2. Chop the remaining spinach very fine, fry the spinach leaves, mix 2 tablespoons of gram flour, corn starch, salt, and black pepper.
    3. Add approx. 2 tablespoons of water slowly to make a batter.
    4. Make a small ball and fry it in the edible oil.
    5. Take them out over paper towels and serve with green chutney. That’s why India is unique in many ways.
